Looking at the early action of open markets the
odds of a spill up on the Dow have increased. The ? would be is this action to complete the
late hod of a ‘normal’ s4h or is it the start
of a new day for the bulls.Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 08:28 #23328Well by time or price we have not set this in stone.
So best we keep open minds and closed wallets.
Because of the nature of these markets it may be
better to see where we are at mid day in London.Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 08:36 #23329As a litmus test I am keeping an eye on the Dax.
Late lastnight we were below 9800(bears) and now
we are above 9900(bulls).Let’s see who wins this bun fight.
Never give up, never surrender.

Bulls are running away with it.

July 12, 2016 at 09:39 #23332Couple of years ago I had the option to take early retirement,
some saying I had already been retired for a decade or more.Anyway it was one of the best moves I have even taken.
Plus trying to make a living trading this market
would be full of stress by the looks of it.Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 10:22 #23333I’ve looked again and still think SPX needs to dip back to the 2130 area over the next day or two before trying for the 2151/4 target area. I’m short a little from 2146 just to see if I’m right.
July 12, 2016 at 10:23 #23334Memsaab has informed me she is short Dow at 18322
At first I thought it a joke but looking at the ooh
prices, it did get up into that zone.I have this horrible feeling that this could lead
to me losing the trading trousers 😉Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 11:05 #23335It would suit my Dow analysis if the futs are over priced
re what we get in rth. Even better if the US rth lod
was late today or spilled lower wednesday.Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 11:51 #23336Dax powers on trying to join those stock markets
which have already recovered pre brexit levels.Dax being much more bullish today looks to be
the main driver for US ooh quotes.Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 14:17 #23337US time
Fed speakers:
9:15am: Tarullo
9:35am: Bullard
5:30pm: Kashkari
9:30pm: MesterJuly 12, 2016 at 14:37 #23339They rang the spx 2150 bell.
Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 14:45 #23340They rang the spx 2150 bell.
Yep, US pushing up while FTSE dropping. Which will influence the other? I’m already short FTSE just above 6700, if the US turns down I will add to it.
July 12, 2016 at 14:45 #23341Yes, it’s gotten to the 2151/4 target area I mentioned. It didn’t get there in quite the shape I imagined, but at least the idea was right. Now we need to see if it tops out or just continues upwards. If it doesn’t reverse but continues northwards, then of course my strategy is, umm, screwed, and something else is going on.
Bradley date is just around the corner.
July 12, 2016 at 14:58 #23342If the boyz want to ruin everyone July OE then a
sharp drop would put the cat amongst the pigeons.Never give up, never surrender.
July 12, 2016 at 15:23 #23345I would not use these numbers(too many will)
but Dow 17000 and spx 2000 are very doable
with current chart patterns etc, imho. The ? then is the ‘h’ in and or can a good
stop be trailed to reap the potential.Never give up, never surrender.
