Finland may veto any deal with Greece apparently. I assume a veto is a veto and it could not proceed. God knows these euro mustards are daft…
July 11, 2015 at 21:29 #14956Need 85% to pass so sadly Finland not enough…
July 11, 2015 at 22:29 #14959The FT’s Duncan Robinson tells us what we don’t want to hear from Brussels
How are things going at Eurogroup? “No way near the end”, apparently.

From May 6th: “The count shown from the March 3rd high (5996) projects a bottom for this move around 5380 (green horizontal).”
The DAILY chart counts the 3-wave sell-off from March 3rd complete at today’s 5383 low, 3 points shy of the target.
Confirmation is a breach of the wave-iv high at 5705.
As the wave-4 low at 5122 (magenta horizontal) remains intact, there is as yet no confirmation that the presumed 5-wave rally from August 2011 topped at 5996 on March 3rd. At this stage the sell-off could be just another higher low in that continuing rally.
Either way, expect a rally to play out over coming sessions that will retrace at least 50% of the sell-off.

Once again the dip was bought and for now its onwards and upwards.
However, I am seeing things that this rally will be shortlived. Just waiting for the SYSTEMS to confirm

July 14, 2015 at 20:22 #15064It is a slow day in a little Greek Village.
The rain is beating down and the streets are deserted.
Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit.
On this particular day a rich German tourist is driving through the village, stops at the local hotel and lays a €100 note on the desk, telling the hotel owner he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one to spend the night.
The owner gives him some keys and, as soon as the visitor has walked upstairs, the hotelier grabs the €100 note and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.
The butcher takes the €100 note and runs down the street to repay his debt to the pig farmer.
The pig farmer takes the €100 note and heads off to pay his bill at the supplier of feed and fuel. The guy at the Farmers’ Co-op takes the €100 note and runs to pay his drinks bill at the taverna.
The publican slips the money along to the local prostitute drinking at the bar, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer him “services” on credit.
The hooker then rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill to the hotel owner with the €100 note.
The hotel proprietor then places the €100 note back on the counter so the rich traveller will not suspect anything.
At that moment the traveller comes down the stairs, picks up the €100 note, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, pockets the money, and leaves town.
No one produced anything.
No one earned anything.
However, the whole village is now out of debt and looking to the future with a lot more optimism.
And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is how the Greeks will pay off their Eurozone debts.

July 14, 2015 at 20:52 #15065What is this market on “Hold” for? Is it Greece tomorrow , is it July oe, or is it something else?
I am hopeful that Greece should not sail through the new proposals, without tremendous backlash in Athens

July 15, 2015 at 13:25 #15088You can’t complain K , the last 5 months have been the most incredible for day trading that I’ve ever participated in . I shudder to think what you’ve been up to- hopefully enjoying the rewards…!
2040-2130 & 1980-2180 are my narrow & wider ranges. Breaking the wider range will determine direction for the 6-12 months and trying to stay ambivalent as to direction.
Should see a -7 today from somewhere , but next cit window is Friday/Monday . Post opex weeks have been weak lately . Hope that ties in with MS/KTS style trigger…!

Too right, it has been absolutely amazing with 50-80 points being banked daily.
We had a KTB to take this back up and no matter how much we doubted it, its put on 80 points form the 2040 support.
Now KTS, MS short, BDIP are building up again for a CIT. So I would like to think that the SYSTEMS know best lol.
I always say, let the crooks have their fun and then we will have ours
Hope you are well mate
