The first week of January was all action and the first
week of February looks like it will be no less so.

A potential cit this week which many have as the 5th
but I have a feeling it will be early.

After a lot of work late friday my only open trade is
short Ftse 6115

Risk is the fib levels at 6150 and 6330 and although the 6150
looks odds on it maybe a quick kiss of death and we may have
a wait or drop before we go for 6330 which will allow me a
chance to move stops to protect a profit.

We may just drop from the open on monday from the 6080’s
friday close and that would be very nice.

Looking at the Ftse through price, time, pattern, it is
hard to see this rally going through February without
atleast a good drop and even a test of the Jan lows
which must hold or the bulls are in do-do.

I have been looking into various timing signals and want to note
them here and review again at months end. Far too early to trade
via them unless they prove to be of use.

1st -ve
3rd +ve
6th -ve
18th -ve
22nd -ve
23rd -ve

Using the daily bias of the signals and grouping it would seem
to indicate the bulls time is running out and as we go more
into February the bears will get control again, all imho.

A positive friday often gives a positive monday so regardless
of anything else I will start the new month with caution
and wait for the right short signal before I add to
my Ftse 6115 short.

I have had a nice 24hr break away from the markets 😉

Ftse action would make more sense if this drop ends today and
so I may wait and see where we are at wednesday’s close.

I never like to come back and jump right in unless I can see
and understand what has happened in my absence.

From my list today is +ve but atm Ftse futs are
well below the 5019 tuesday close.

I will take a day off and see where we close.

Ftse futures were down then rth closed it’s opening
gap and now has sold off again a la early futures.

Atm 5877 so a climb even to get back to 5919 open.

US stocks could be a wild card but the odds may
favour a pop and drop.

nice cim,was just waiting for a 10 min pop on the open that never came..argh! the pain lol.cit again for tomorrow..up into monday i should think,barring an outright crash

..or inversely that big tailed candle holds todays lows and we turn up into tomorrow.wild day so far,should be a fun crookshour(not for the fainthearted).

Yep it’s more like Dodge City than Wall Street atm.

Ftse and Dax both did a mini pop and gave back 50 and 100
for the early birds.

I think the US will do the reverse and drop then pop but
don’t put your shirt on it 😉
