Got the short stop run going stateside.
The move looks good but the levels atm are not game changers
unless a good bit of the move can be held onto tuesday and
then built on again wednesday, imho.Small short Dax 10870 just as a play vs the rth close.
Never give up, never surrender.
February 2, 2015 at 20:53 #11704They spooked me from my longs just perfect today. Mustards!
This Greece thing has everyone in bearish mode, and rightly so, but maybe they’ll take advantage of that bearishness?
February 3, 2015 at 00:37 #11712curious but in this interview says Schiller’s CAPE figure for the ftse is below its long term average, whereas the main article is pointing to the fact the U.S. market is way too high, and suggests the possibility of a crash.
February 3, 2015 at 08:36 #11713Small short Ftse 6844 … still holding small short Dax 10870
Bulls have done better than good but the hill gets steeper.
Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 08:54 #11715We have hit baaa’s Dax target … well done.
Ftse once again we have the potential 6900 re-test.
US ooh has responded .. Dow has put on 100pts from
earlier this morning.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 09:14 #11716Ftse is testing an ooh peak from 26th January
and printing it in rth makes a better chart.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 09:25 #11717Dax on fire!
February 3, 2015 at 09:27 #11718I will leave stops and entry orders for what may happen
and then come back later to find out what has happened.Ftse 6900 Dax 11000 are all within reach but many
indicators are overbought so it’s in the balance.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 09:36 #11719We move yet closer to a situation where the US and Russia
are fighting in another’s backyard. You have to feel for
all those families just trying to live.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 09:42 #11720Ftse – Dax – Dow all in different qe phases and hence
quite different charts. At some point these rallies
are all going to fail, very much on the same day.
Then we will get many questions answered, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 12:32 #11721I will open a small Dow short at 17422 as I thought this market
would atleast have a mini drop at the open. Only a smallish
trade as I am on my guard when markets do not follow what
my analysis indicates. In an ideal world I get a profit
between now and 15:00 gmt. Dip below 17400 and I will
be hovering over the close button.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 13:06 #11722Quicker than I thought.
If they crank the Dow up to 17425 etc (before the bell)
then I will be short again. I think the Dow closed at
circa 17365 so there is not too much playroom in a
market that runs stops all day. Take care.Bigger ? did the US make a supported low yesterday
because if it did the bears are toast, if not then
the bulls are toast. There may not be too much
room in the middle, even if it looks like the
range is large.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 13:56 #11723Out of Dow Ftse Dax shorts, two profits and one loss
but even though the retained profit is tiny, it was
just a good time so I could be flat again.I don’t know, re the US and late euroland action
and that’s why I am flat.Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 15:06 #11725I had 15:00 gmt as a cit but thought it would be a ‘l’ but just
incase it’s inverted.Small short Ftse 6877
Small short Dow 17549I must admit the model I use is still beta testing, by me…eek!
Never give up, never surrender.
February 3, 2015 at 15:11 #11726closed my dax longs on limits this morning and now closed my spoos longs , which I’ve been running for a few weeks from 1990
not shorting Europe for all the tea in china , but building a short term s&p short today , looking for another dip into payrolls . who knows beyond that , but still higher prices more likely imo…
also building an asx short position – that looks much better risk/reward than most other indices and providing we don’t take out 5800 , I may keep that one for a while .
shame about gold, …
