That spike down on the Dax was circa 250pts which was good
for the quick shorters but must have wiped the smile off
a few Dax bulls !Never give up, never surrender.
August 16, 2014 at 14:11 #7221I mentioned the two week bear then two week bull windows earlier.
Next week is the 2nd of the bull weeks.
Now two things.
If in their two weeks either side cannot move the market in
their direction, then this is very serious for them. This is not my research and therefore to give the dates,
rather than the rounded two week window, I will not do.Never give up, never surrender.
August 18, 2014 at 08:29 #7232No boring summer markets this year 🙂
Never give up, never surrender.
August 19, 2014 at 08:34 #7251A couple of chart reasons for Ftse to tag 6800-6820
zone, depending on timing and how you draw lines. However, the risks still exist and fear can come
out of the blue, as it did friday.Never give up, never surrender.
August 19, 2014 at 21:47 #7266oscar still calling for new highs..
August 19, 2014 at 21:53 #7267Mustard….
August 20, 2014 at 08:26 #7269Tempted to short the NAS at 4032 for a 1000pt drop 😉
Could be a micro side order short, always with the risk
it could still blow upwards on just hot air.As for the more rational markets, a large drop before
the end of August looks a decent bet, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
August 20, 2014 at 12:44 #7271Ftse and Dax rth draining away whilst US ooh holds but
expect this all to equalise after US opens.Never give up, never surrender.
August 20, 2014 at 15:29 #7275Ftse and Dax rth draining away whilst US ooh holds but
expect this all to equalise after US opens. No that has not happened so far, if anything the gap has widened
which may not be that healthy in the longer term, let’s see.Never give up, never surrender.
August 20, 2014 at 18:36 #7280US pushing higher with Europe holding back today and that
does fit in with a time for bears now and bulls very soon to
take extra care with margin and stops. As I said, large drop before months end, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
August 21, 2014 at 10:22 #7297Looking again at a NAS micro short.
Of the potential patterns that would either end this week or atleast
have a profitable drop before going yet higher, it does seem that
an entry near to 4050 is not that bad a risk, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
August 21, 2014 at 14:45 #730550% position short here at the (almost ) DT.
odds are probably still that we print new highs , but I see the impulsive part of the rally from 1905 done now and further highs more likely to be a grinding diagonal imo. I can cope with that , as I want to be on-board for the long awaited correction.
at worst I’m hoping we see the low 1970’s in the next 2-4 days and I may cut a bit there and look to reload higher up . certainly no more longs from here , as all the 5th waves this whole bull market have been short & weak.
we’ll see
August 21, 2014 at 15:13 #7317Agree with all that.
Just sit and wait now, can be the hardest part of a
trade which has taken quite a bit of time to plan.Plenty of action before months end, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
August 22, 2014 at 06:56 #7339Well this is the last day of the bull two week window based
on someone elses work which I have diced so it just fits
into trading weeks rather than use the exact dates. As with most timing systems there is a window around the
prefered date so we could drop today or monday, even
tuesday for bank holiday Ftse.Let’s see what happens.
Never give up, never surrender.
