out of dow short +60 and i really want to short dax but i am too busy to follow the
market and look too strong for no good reason so something else might be brewing underneath
Good morning all, move my BE to +60 and my limit to +355 on my dow short at 24503.5.
Recently i have seen a graph how retail share trading for the 2 big usa firms has risen from 1 million to 4+ million. Also i noticed that in uk all the tabloids have stories about young people becoming rich trading even the BBC had a story like that.
Friends that do not touch the market called me and told me they are thinking of day trading during the covid 19 lock down.
So there is a new group of people that the market has to get their money hence i expect the market behavior to change forget fundamentals i would not be surprise to see ATH is all about stealing the money from the amateurs.
my dax short limit closed for 100 points in the morning. for my dow short i was planing to buy some weekly call options to hedge it but i was not watching today and missed the opportunity.
Now i just put a BE stop and 250 limit
if the position still exists when i look at the market again i will remove both.
btw my short positions are based on my idea that says
do i really believe is possible never to see again that price in the next few weeks ?
if the answer is no then i take the trade since it is risk free.
mejt reference line 2955.61 and 2953.45 any move that starts outside this range before 19:20 is not sustainable. and the signal was a buy already happened if i am reading it correct
the bull moto has changed from a deal with china is imminent to a vaccine has been developed. Lucky i was not watching today i would had been fried.
But i could not resist shorted dax 11057.02 and dow 24503.5
also i think it gave a sell signal

this recent move below 2809.29 was fake and has already returned in the range
one of the things regretting is not reading the MEJT book but at that time i was sick of reading trading books and before that university books etc
When i bought it was not that big so i was happy still heaved study it in great details but i dont trade ES anyway. Is good for possible fake moves and helpful for direction.
Any move outside 2819.09 to 2809.29 before 7:20pm uk it shouldn’t stick and should return to this 2 lines else a new MEJT target

actually the spike down is a bailout but by myself lol
i have 2 rules in trading never use stops and never leave too much money in the account.
My biggest mistake since i start trading 1st shares back in 1992 was that i wanted to become millionaire tomorrow. Had i start doing from the beginning what i do since 2009 i would had been multi millionaire by now.
the spike down is 2 long position £1 dax and £1 dow so from -6827 went -12110 when
the account got liquidated while not watching.
I added 5K bailout lol and retook the positions closed them in 2 stages first dow to -8636 and then dax to reach -6139 then i withdrawn the bailout 5k the rest of the upward slope is real trading. currently -1423 since account opened + -94 overnight charges. I will remove another 5k once i cross zero
btw whenever i get liquidated i never fund the account straight away in the hit of the moment i study and then i do it.
In Highsight my long dow 19079 and dax 8023 could have give much more profit.
Nice to be back if time permit me i plan to get more serious with trading in the coming weeks.

hi everyone i have been a member of khalsas pad since the MSN times i haven’t login for a long time i start larking recently. Nice to see they are still some active poster.
I haven’t be trading since the esm changed the rules i used to do quick scalps 1- 10 min
starting with £50 making it 4K in 2 to 3 week and the blowing it on wild bets.
After 2009 i took a decision to bank some and i had been profitable ever since hence my advfn user name restart09.
New rules destroyed my style. Coupled with lack of time and i stopped trading just tried some position trading not very successful lol
hi stathis living in sheffield havent trade for over 2 years due to work commitment.
finaly after 20 years of trading i realised that i only make money when i am focus and do scalps so now if i dont have time i stop trading

i did not have too much time to trade in 2013 i hope thinks will be better in 2014.

also if you change the date on the link e.g. replace 19 with 18 to see previous one but that doesn’t always work.
