Hello all,
Feel free to ask any questions regarding using kpad on this site, in this topic.
You can subscribe to any topic( thread) by pressing the subscribe button on the top right of the topic.
You will then receive email notifications to the email address you gave each time a new reply is posted in that topic. If you have a push email service (like yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc.) then your notifications will be near instant to your email. This email can be set up on your home pc, office pc or mobile.
This should prove very useful as we no longer need to sit at the screens and can also reply via mobile wherever we are.
This will work best with a PUSH email provider such as GMAIL, HOTMAIL, YAHOO as notifications should be near instant.
You can change your email address anytime in the profile area once you are logged in.
Apart from that it should be straightforward.

Some of the features of this forum:
a) You can insert Youtube video’s directly into posts just by inserting the url to the video in the post and it will embed it automatically.
b)If you look at the widgets on the top right hand side you will see RECENT REPLIES and RECENT TOPICS.
- If you hover mouse over RECENT REPLIES, it tells you the contents on the post.
- RECENT TOPICS tells you the latest threads (so you can see tomorrow’s thread is already there
c)You can insert any pictures and charts from other sites using the url via the button on the second row next to the smiley (Insert/edit image). If you hover your mouse over it it will say ‘insert/edit image’
d) You can also embed any image from another site by ‘right clicking’ that image on the other site, then choose ‘copy image’ and then go to a reply box on the thread you want to post in and right click ‘paste image’.

To create your own Avatar
Go to https://en.gravatar.com/
If you use your email address with them that you used here, that Avatar will be on all futures sites that use the Gravatar system (many sites)
Posting images from other sites via a url
If the charts are held off site then you can embed them inline using the last button on the right in the second row in the post window. If you hover your mouse over it, it says “insert/edit image”.
