May 5, 2020 at 20:38 #30852Hilarious, its undone all the gains since open now.
Long live crookshour.
Why do you think I was going on about this all day today, it should never have gone up in the first place!
Total idiots 🙂
Plan your trade, trade your plan!
May 5, 2020 at 20:42 #30853Dow first target is 23800 zone … the early lod.
Closed and banked.
Never give up, never surrender.
May 5, 2020 at 20:43 #30854The pattern up looks totolly crooked Its gone up on no volume. Europe has its own problems with the ECB and is not responding. Quite shocking really. I am only 4 points out in my short so not allowed to add by my rules.
. I see it retracing now. A day or they buy it back up. Very strange action in the first place!
Beautiful A day.
I am sure Chris will be overjoyed to see this 🙂

May 5, 2020 at 22:03 #30860Good to have no position overnight and start
fresh again in the morning.Never give up, never surrender.
May 6, 2020 at 01:26 #30861I too had Houdini’s problem a few months back – site kept telling me I was unauthorised and I had to submit email address and a ‘message to administrator’. It suddenly stopped and hasn’t been a problem since (fingers crossed).
May 6, 2020 at 01:34 #30862NASDAQ: I’m continuing to count a five wave upwards move for NASDAQ and NDX100. This is in contrast to DOW and SPX which are considerably weaker and look like threes with approximately C=A complete.
I’ve shown my count on this chart of NDX100. It seems to me that NDX reached waves iii and iv of wave 3, and is now trying to rise to reach the 3 = 1.618 target area around 9,341. It might be trying for a rising wedge which will need a week or ten days to complete.
These markets are being driven solely by the FAANGS hence the outperformance of NASDAQ stocks and underperformance of the major indices.
If I am right with my NASDAQ and NDX100 counts then any further upside is going to gradually lose momentum. DOW and SPX will lag and will likely NOT see new highs. We will therefore have bearish intermarket divergence.
Note on the chart the development of divergence in the RSI and MACD, indicating that a top has been reached or is nearby.
Of course something else can happen suddenly to change all of this, but for the moment I’ll be looking for the rising wedge to 9,341 on NDX – that’s about 3.4% above current levels.
Note that if all this pans out there should subsequently be a 4th wave correction of around 9% which will take all indices down.

Dow futures are heading for this zone.
What happens after will / should be worth watching.
Never give up, never surrender.
May 6, 2020 at 04:24 #30865Our gym is open! Yay! I’ve missed it. Went for a hour this morning and shredded with vigour. Felt good. Been a while. Managed to burn about 600 calories. I’ll go again later. Yay!
Korea hasn’t reported any domestic virus cases for a few days now, so the ‘community’ places like gyms, churches etc are now reopening. Everyone is asked to keep social distance and wear masks. I had to wear a mask in the gym today. Wasn’t too bad.
I believe large gatherings such as football stadiums, baseball etc are still closed for the moment.
May 6, 2020 at 04:28 #30866SPX/DOW: I mentioned earlier that my best guess is for NAS/NDX to continue to rise gently in a wedge formation, with strength in the FAANGS disguising underlying weakness in general stocks. If that’s correct (and it might be nonsense of course) then it’s possible that DOW and SPX will trade sideways forming a topping pattern before eventually giving way to the downside when the NASDAQ corrects downwards in the 4th wave.
This of course is a guess. The key will be to watch how the NASDAQ develops over the next week/ten days.

This might explain why the C=A was exceeded by 30 points or so – the market *wanted* that Fib retrace. Note how SPX popped up above that Fib only momentarily – a sign, perhaps, that the sellers were waiting there.
This might be important, or not.

Life is about quality, not eeking out the last few minutes.
I hear a growing chorus saying they would rather die if a
life of lock down was the alternative. To live is to risk, ask the birds of the air.
Carry on like this we will be in 1984 or not allowed to
even cross the road without an App !Never give up, never surrender.
