I will not be trading today because I want
to see if we get a drop and by how much.My focus must remain with my analysis and
what it is telling me.Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 07:57 #30287Nice one Chris.
For me it’s Short Dax at 10707. It may go back to globex highs but should be lower.

April 20, 2020 at 08:02 #30288Bears have a shot at friday gap fill.
It’s the transition from bear to bull, which
my project indicates will be sharp, that is
a concern for trading the gap fill.We will all learn something by tuesday
night, at the latest.Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 08:06 #30289This is what Merlin says this week.

Plan your trade, trade your plan!
April 20, 2020 at 08:15 #30290Absolutely no doubt about it, the US indices have had a phenominal recovery and that is the bit that concerns me, it is too much too soon, considering the damage from Covid19 is yet to play out.
Plan your trade, trade your plan!
April 20, 2020 at 08:24 #30291Cheers ‘K’
No idea how Merlin generates the forecast but
apart from one day it is on the same page
as my bull/bear project.QED … any drop early this week is false.
Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 12:31 #30292I don’t want to close it as my plan is for down, but I just have to take the Dax (from this morning) profits.
Closed at 10476 for 231 points.
Still got the Cac from Friday at 4501.4.
Plan your trade, trade your plan!
April 20, 2020 at 12:49 #30293Well done ‘K’
To close the Dow gap requires circa 23500
I want to fade this gap close so …
Small long Dow at 23795 … stop 23000 … limit 25000
That’s my initial position and I will await some form
of conformation that we do not go lower. We could close the gap with a gap down which would fit
with the drop and pop that fits the expected cit.Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 13:17 #30294Thanks Chris. Good luck to you with your long.
The next step for me is to see if we gap down today (surely we will) and then if we can gap fill today.
I will only be able to “Guess” that at open
Plan your trade, trade your plan!
April 20, 2020 at 13:26 #30295There are too many variables and Dow cash traders have
the benefit of seeing the fair size Dow futures range.A sharp move was always on the cards and we may get
more than one in either direction !Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 13:57 #30296Dow is S3 lean unknown because S1 was saturday.
Where and when does pt5 print.
I’ll leave where to one side but place pt5 circa 16:30
which is slighty off norm to allow for wind 🙂Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 13:58 #30297SPX: if this is still part of the possible ‘five up’ then this could be a small second wave (of some degree) ahead of stronger markets for the rest of the week. If so, then a 38.2 retrace is at 2834, and area worth watching.
I don’t have a position. For me, 2,900 remains key and I want to see what happens there.
April 20, 2020 at 14:06 #30298GBPUSD:Â there has a sharp rally from the 1.14 low and makes me wonder if the possible falling wedge has completed.

The level at which a potential wave down ends is a real brain teaser
so I will not over load the old noggin and just pick a level 😉Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2020 at 14:37 #30301Dow on monday is Cycle Day 1 … doesn’t matter where
it starts from, the market will seek out support. That is the theory.
Never give up, never surrender.
