Still I did well last week all in all although yes had I held my supposed running shorts I’d be double the amount banked. Just like China they’ll likely rally this mustard up sharply but it’ll end up lower again like China managed today and that Nasdaq did back in the day….. Back in the Nasdaq 50% drop it had 19 out of 20 of it’s biggest percentage up days… Be prepared for further very sharp big moves. If it gets back to 2000 or so it’ll be tempting for shorts but will allow systems to dictate. What happens if we get $vold 3 !!!?
It is ironic but one will always get caught up in the first drop after a bull because they have conditioned us for years to either buy the dip or close shorts on the dip to reshort higher.
SPX isdown near 200 points in a few days.
Nothing stops it from going lower but if I know these mustards they will be a technical bounce.
It can even be a few days wonder and back up to new highs.
No idea and not worth trying to think that far ahead.

Sorry to hear Qman, gotta roll with the punches. That was a good point Dan made about taking a hit for a small loss on his longs last week rather than wake up to mega gap down.
The only silver lining here is that volatility will continue to be high, with the market trying to find a footing, so smallish stakes will still yield a lot of points, need to avoid being gun shy after such a bruising, but never fear Kman the resident crash trading expert is here -he seems to excel in these environments 😉

Shame really having planned for this, one is not on board for it.
Never mind. Banked horrific points up till now this year and particularly last few months., so now its about giving some back. It has to be a give take relationship for long term sustainability.
