yesterday was a pain, started well then got caught out shorting into that decline as i suspect a few did, good old fashioned bear trap to give back the winnings lol.weekend cit,so ideally looking for a small pullback possibly to close the open 1999/2000 ish gap in rth.then choppy slow day grinding higher, maybe a bit of volume picking up into the end of the session.looking for 2020.thats the plan…everyone gotta have a plan! the plan mighrt be a crock, but its still a plan.

Memsaab has just gone short the Dow at 17096

I noticed this was underwater and thought I would
have some fun and win back the bragging rights.

        Short Dow 17209 – stop 17530 – limit 10000

        Never give up, never surrender.

            Cheers 🙂

            Chart wise we ‘could’ see Dow 17620 – s&p 2062 !

That would trigger my short of the year entry
but in any event I will be short in March it
is just a matter of timing.

Now I must get back to my three day holiday.

            Never give up, never surrender.

As per chart comments I beefed up the stop a bit
so the trade now is :-

              Short Dow 17209 – stop 17725 – limit 10000

              Never give up, never surrender.

im short now from last nights close 2021spx.prepared for a green opening monday should it happen, prefer not though, cant be much up left in this bugger.upper gap at 2045ish,but any higher other than a spike candle and it would put the bear case in doubt imo

In an ideal world my plan was to go short on 1st April
as I was expecting a bullish March right into 31st.

So taking a short on 11th leaves me thinking that I
will have to use plenty of stop margin and or flip
long for the last rally higher.

This week coming we have another central bank fest
and they will do well to get markets to react as
                  per the ECM, imho.

It’s also quad expiry on friday.

Use stops and be prepared to adjust plans.

                  Never give up, never surrender.

If we get a Dow pop at the open I may reopen the
short but I would not do so under 17200, fwiw.

These markets do not look ready to fall even though they are
at levels and counts which look valid for a decent fall.

Maybe it’s FMOC and quad expiry which has them anchored.

I may just day trade for small gains and wait for a
better place to entry my 2016 short.

Almost daily we see a chart ‘look’ for a short
                              and atm it’s Dow 17250

                              A real bear teaser !

                                Monday bullish
                                Tuesday bearish
                                Wednesday bullish
                                Thursday bullish
                                Friday bearish

Is the general odds for march options week which tends
to focus on closing price and not intra day hoop la.
