Targets for my shorts.
Dax 9714 = 9000
Dax 9925 = 9900
Dow 17825 = 17800
Dax 9925 = 9900 a winner
Never give up, never surrender.
June 20, 2016 at 08:09 #22913Stats I had were too many short and I bet the margin
calls went out around the world.Just aswell I only risk reduced size overnight and
weekends, if I trade then, which is not often.Fair chance I get the Dow target but the remaining
short on the Dax is going to take time.Out for the day now back tuesday for US opening.
Never give up, never surrender.
June 20, 2016 at 22:08 #22930dow 17825 … 17800 a winner
Never give up, never surrender.
June 20, 2016 at 23:04 #22932Brave trades Cimac
Baaa got his touch of 2100 and it closed under 2085 to boot!
June 21, 2016 at 08:20 #22933re-shorted 2100 & closed those shorts this morning.
becoming a total lottery from here . At least the return is asymmetric & I’ll think about adding back the shorts near 2100 and more around 2106-2110 if it gets there .
Accepting this is now a total gamble , so care with position size…
June 21, 2016 at 11:34 #22936Back now after my break.
Early doors I did something I rarely do and that’s hedge.
I longed the Dax at twice the short trade size and now find
my limit has been hit … yipee. So with this and my Dax and Dow short from monday my loss
on the 9714 Dax is reduced to 100pts at that trade size.Glad to be flat and feeling a lot better. The loss has
put me back to where I was earlier on friday and it
is a cheap lesson not to break my rules, bad boy !Never give up, never surrender.
June 21, 2016 at 13:26 #22938Odds favour ‘remain’ and if that turns out to be
the case, how much higher can we go.For US stocks it’s new aths or the end of a ‘2’ or
a ‘b’ aka a dead cat bounce. My next trade is likely to be a short of this
current rally, best when result is known,
with a drop into the next major Bradley
centred 4th July.Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2016 at 13:22 #22947The numbers I see say shorts exceed longs on s&p.
If traders close tonight to avoid thursday britex vote
which will spill into friday, then this must surely
lift the market as the majority have to buy back
their short positions. The increase in margin
from tonight may also be another push up.Just speculation, I am staying flat.
Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2016 at 19:48 #22958Margins set to increase after US close today.
Britex polling stations close at the US close thursday.
Friday we get the market reactions.
With any luck next monday we can start to trade back
at normal margins and worry about something else.Never give up, never surrender.
June 23, 2016 at 00:07 #22962From our beloved bbc,,,
‘City of London dealing rooms will be alight on referendum night as firms brace for what could be the most dramatic trading day since Lehman Brothers collapsed in 2009.’
June 23, 2016 at 01:23 #22965June 23, 2016 at 06:57 #22967US futs are well up from the close.
Small short Dow 17880 – stop 21300 – limit 10400
which is better than 2-1 profit/loss.I would take 17800 anytime today, fwiw.
Never give up, never surrender.

Oops just got a call and have to go out today.
Closed for +15pts.
Never give up, never surrender.
June 23, 2016 at 16:38 #22979Stock markets have priced in a ‘remain’ vote but even
if they are right, how much is priced in. Is there
still enough fuel to rally through resistance. We will find out friday.
Never give up, never surrender.
June 23, 2016 at 22:53 #22991US hits 18064 and 2120 after close which is the new sandline.
Never give up, never surrender.
