      Short Dow 18393

I would take 18350 if possible today or just ride
out the final move higher and then the downer.

      Never give up, never surrender.

IG are quoting SPX at 1261 so unless something happens it’s broken upwards though my target area of 1251/4.  Shame because I really liked that idea.

Anyhow, it’s clear that the long side is where it’s time to be, at least for the moment.  Will be interesting to see what happens at the Bradley next week, although the upwards pointing charts are in clear divergence with the Bradley suggestion of a weak second half to the year.

Sometimes the Bradley works excellently (like recently) and sometimes it’s utter garbage.  We’ll see if the coming months are garbage.

No positions open at the moment – too busy doing my Korean tax return!

For SPX I don’t have any more numbers until 2183 and 2194.

For FTSE, here’s an IG Index chart with very nice ratios and Fib line touches.

Notice that from the Brexit low there appears to be a clean five wave advance not yet complete.  Wave 3 is 1.618.  Now in wave 5.  Wave 4 perfect touch of 61.8.

Naturally I realise that this chart might not reflect the cash market exactly.  It is, however, a very nice chart, and suggests 6834 as a target.

Thanks for the info David and goodluck with that Korean tax return.

Those spx targets are at my limits because I expect an undershoot of 2200.

BoE and OE are done or near done.

Brexit and Nice and QE (is a busted flush), are the real world.

Prepare for the run down into the autumn.

I think we fail before spx 2200 and it’s equiv’s in other stock markets.

                        EcB on thursday.

My focus is to continue work on my Short Term Delta extensions and the
bread and butter day trades which for me can be done in ooh, most days.

Short Dow 18550 to add to the 18393

Not sure what the US markets are doing or where they close
but it seems a good idea to monitor this action, imho.

                            Closed for +35pts (18515)

May aswell take a profit because any surprise drop
is covered by my other entry.

EU not in a good state. UK must not slam the door on the
way out else the building may fall down.

Chart wise the US markets have options for up or down
and so it seems pointless to predict unless it is for
some academic exercise. When we top or have topped,
a change in trend will guide our trading bias.

Very hot here in the South West. I would not want to
be in London today or pay Dan’s water bill.

Dax is the weaker in euroland but they have EcB thursday
as a kind of liferaft … kind of is the key.

US potential of a drop to check Dow 18400 and spx 2130/20
which could decide if the ath is there for sometime.

Odds we test those levels seem good but I would not say
what happens when we get there is clear at all.

                                  Never give up, never surrender.
