January 5, 2017 at 15:35 #24904Dan will be happy that gold has turned up
and where gold goes silver will follow.Never give up, never surrender.
January 6, 2017 at 06:40 #24908For 2017 I will only use small trade size for positional plays.
The risk posed by cyber attacks and hft algos makes it much more
likely we see violent and unpredictable moves. The world is as
ever changing and we are due a step change.Normal trade size will be only be used when I am at the screen
day trading and even them time of trade will be small.Never give up, never surrender.
January 6, 2017 at 17:54 #24917Small short Dow 19986 – stop 20800 – limit 17500

Small short Ftse 7222 – stop 7525 – limit 6100Yes they are twins.
Time to standaside and see what unfolds later and monday.
FA Cup here and playoffs stateside this weekend.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 6, 2017 at 19:31 #24921certainly looks like they hover around the 20,000 mark and gap over it in afterhours monday.top is near timewise, trouble is that could be 100pts straight up next week lol..you pay your money you take your chance.i will be shorting monday/tuesday at the latest come what may.have a good weekend all.
January 8, 2017 at 08:35 #24922New figures calculate the average UK household has
unsecured debts of £13k which is higher than the
recent BoE figure as it includes student loans.Mortgages are excluded from both figures.
Harks back to pre credit crunch levels of debt.
Why then is the Ftse at aths …. distorted by QE
but this chicken will come home to roost.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2017 at 05:04 #24924US Dollar Index @ Thu 5 Jan 17
The MONTHLY chart shows the index encountering resistance in the 103-104 target range for the 3-wave rally from 70 in March 2008 (red horizontals).
Confirmation that this rally has topped is a breach of the wave-4 low at 92 (magenta horizontal).
US Dollar Index @ Wed 4 May 16 – Intraday
The MONTHLY chart shows the working count for the price action since the bottom at 70 in March 2008 that projects a top around 103 (red horizontal).
It’s possible that wave-(C)’s 5th topped at 100 last December when the index pushed to a slight new high, technically sufficient to complete the 8 year rally. But since the top labelled wave-3 a credible A-B-C correction has played out into yesterday’s 92 bottom.
If the count shown is correct, look for wave-5 of (C) to top around 103 (red horizontal).

but I cannot so time for a new plan.If we hit 7289 then I will close and reshort at 7290.
This is just house keeping because at 7289 I will
be back at b/e for 2017 so may aswell start again. However if we hit 7200 before 7289 then I will
reduce my short and set a stop above 7500.I am relaxed and will go with the flow.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2017 at 07:34 #24927Another option is to short 7236 and close out
all the other entries if we close what should
be an opening gap up.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2017 at 09:05 #24928Worked like a charm … at 7215 the twin 7222’s and 7200
were closed for a net b/e. Leaving me with the 7236 and
no loss of 2017 profit.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2017 at 09:12 #24929To recap I will now wait and see
where US goes later and keep thesmall short Ftse 7236
I will set the stop very high to
keep it away from the robots.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2017 at 14:35 #24932to keep it away from the robots.
