Well once again I am happy with my profits, rather
than focusing on what may or may not have been.

      Time to just watch.

I would be tempted ‘today’ at Dow 26750
which is above hatman’s lower number
so to allow for fast action trading.

        Never give up, never surrender.

Will not be seen today so delete it.

Concerned we may see Dow 26000 or lower before this move
from aths is complete. That does not rule out some very
          good rallies at times.

SPX:  although the Dow has reached an area of possible support, SPX is still some way above that area.  It *might* try to decline to 3,030 or so (or not)…

Note that Dow, RUT and NYA have all crossed an overlap of support.  SPX and COMP have yet to do so..

SPX 3000 not that far away and if we get there expect
                  the 3050 – 2950 undershoot – overshoot game play.

As hatman said the Dow has overlapped but if that is
not good enough then hello 25000 for next support.

                  Never give up, never surrender.

                      US data at 13:30 gmt

Plus I think Trump hosts a US update meeting on the virus
                      about the same time.

Reaction to these events could be worth watching.

If SPX cash hits your number within the first hour
that could be worth a short (with care).

I think traders have those big round numbers
like Dow 25000 and spx 3000 in focus.

Who knows if we see them and they would be
very difficult to trade if we got there.

For all traders it’s the odds vs up and
                            the odds vs down.

So what level would look like 50-50 on
the Dow and spx … hmmm.

Several central banks may step in with
asset purchases or even surprise rate
                            cuts to goose the market.

                            Never give up, never surrender.

Traders form short term habits quite quickly and
the current one is a weak close / sell rallies.

That happy trading habit will expire one day
and that is a concern to me atm.

                              Never give up, never surrender.

For a balanced view we should talk potential upside and that
looks like Dow 27500 ( via invhs ) on the futures market.

                                Never give up, never surrender.

US market bulls will look at durable goods decline of -0.2%
                                  against an expected -1.5%

Fed rate cuts … chance of 3 in 2020 rated at 80%
China expected to cut rates any day now.
Japan PM preparing legislation to minimize virus economic impact.

Those items could be talked up … if they want to.
