Small short Dow at 25530
The game has changed. We are now having to plan
for Dow 26000 or even new aths and what follows
which will take all of 2019Never give up, never surrender.
Cimc, I was watching that dip on Friday a week before OE. just didn’t want to waste money buying calls. Would have worked. All this news suddenly pushing the market with OE on Friday . Happens most of the time.
I am not trading much as work is keeping me busy. Sticking to investing for the longer term.

I retired when I was 49 so day trading has become my work substitute.
As the market rises I will always have a short in play but look to
open a new short at set higher levels and then use the previous
entry to tag any retrace at a profit or b/e.It’s a boring process but it has worked for me in the past but I
have failed to reap the full rewards from larger falls. So that
must be where I have to learn, this time around.If the Dow wants 26k 27k 28k 29k 30k etc bring it on because
old boy cimac will be at the snowy peak with his shorts on !Never give up, never surrender.

That is my 2nd half and completes where I want to be.
As per the Dow I expect a drop and then a rally which
could last until the autumn / winter 2019.As per usual it’s a play as we go type plan.

Closed the Ftse shorts at 7235 for a net b/e which then
cleared the decks for 30 Dow trades back and forth to
leave me with only aSmall Dow short at 25820
Very pleased with that result made possible because
markets have been in a range where many profits
can be picked up for not that much risk.I expect a run to Dow 25900 – 26000 later tonight
or on monday but I will be fine holding short.Never give up, never surrender.
