December 26, 2015 at 09:07 #19211The Memsaab has taken a short Dow @ 17600
She took the profit on friday and now niether of us has open trades.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 26, 2015 at 09:16 #19212Regarding the early ‘h’ and reverse for Ftse and US majors on thursday.
If it were a full days trade then the idea of a reversal would be
greatly enhanced. Also next week could provide a strong move on low volumes
as we see a lot of tax planing in the US plus many funds who
would like a nice ‘h’ at year end.My favorite time for a drop remains January and it could even
start on monday the 4th.Never give up, never surrender.

Thursday really π
Never give up, never surrender.
December 29, 2015 at 09:33 #19221Small short Ftse 6300
This will be held through Santa Rally etc so will go underwater.
It is high risk and money which I have already written into the
loss column for 2016, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
December 29, 2015 at 14:01 #19223The Memsaab has taken a small short Dow @ 17650 most
likely with the same warning as my Ftse trade.Never give up, never surrender.
December 29, 2015 at 14:10 #19225The Memsaab has taken a small short Dow @ 17650 most
likely with the same warning as my Ftse trade.Just seen the trade details which for interest only are:-
Short 17650 stop 18300 limit 11000
She has also said, why don’t you cash in your Ftse for +20pts
and row in with me.Never give up, never surrender.
December 29, 2015 at 20:57 #19228Small short Ftse 6300
Just for the record:-
Short 6300 stop 6800 limit 4000
Never give up, never surrender.
December 30, 2015 at 20:03 #19233Last chance for the Ftse to close the year above 6300 tomorrow.
Even if that happens it’s a poor year to date for holders and
not a good reason to hold in 2016, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
December 31, 2015 at 08:15 #19242I have just closed my Ftse short from 6300 and my other half
has closed her Dow short from 17650 so that we can see the
New Year in and then start trading again on monday. It’s been a pleasure to be here during 2015 π
Never give up, never surrender.
December 31, 2015 at 09:08 #19243Happy new year addicts and mustards, may you make millions in 2016, just as you did in 2015.Β π
December 31, 2015 at 13:16 #19245Happy New Year to you too Paps! Hope you add to your millions too next year! π
Have a good one!
December 31, 2015 at 13:54 #19247Dow futs were 17628 in europe rth and are now 17528 !
I guess a few went long after lastnight’s late US sell
off and the robots have gone after their stops.Could be fireworks in the last US rth session and a
few margin calls.Never give up, never surrender.
December 31, 2015 at 14:02 #19248Wishing you all at Kpad a very happy and prosperous 2016.
Millions or no millions, its all about the life that one lives.
Extremely pleased with 2015 and looking forward to 2016 with great interest.
I read somewhere recently that “The most successful people in the world were successful because they never stopped learning”. To me being open minded and a good listener is the key. Keep on learning!
God Bless

Plan your trade, trade your plan!
December 31, 2015 at 15:07 #19250If I worked in the US funds sector I would be fine tuning
my CV because if the Dow closes 2015 below 17500
then a new job hunt in 2016 is required.Even a close at 17600 is poor unless there is an early
rally in 2016.Looks beyond them to close at 17700 which would be
a better job safe guard in 2016.All, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
