Two full trading weeks to go this year, which include FMOC and Dec OE
and another chance for the Fed to pump in more QE drugs to the markets.Never give up, never surrender.
December 8, 2013 at 16:52 #2754Still the bears must break Ftse 6450 Dow 15800 to stop Santa, imho.
Cable and eur:usd outlook should be clearer after monday, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 9, 2013 at 18:48 #2763No surprise that the bull is back … turnaround
tuesday maybe the best the bear can hope for ?Never give up, never surrender.
December 9, 2013 at 19:09 #2764No surprise that the bull is back … turnaround
tuesday maybe the best the bear can hope for ?Not exactly strong though is it. Just a standard WNER I would say.
December 9, 2013 at 19:44 #2765Hi Folks,
Yes, not the most bully of wner days but up all the same.
Maybe turnaround tuesday is stronger given weakness of wner.
Dan.
December 10, 2013 at 00:05 #2771Strange day. S&P and Nasdaq ended up slightly, Dow wasn’t really interested and FTSE down.
Could be interesting Tuesday.
December 10, 2013 at 08:17 #2772Short Cable 1.6450 and eur:usd 1.3750 in a small way only
just to see if any downside is possible today. Overall it
looks like higher for most markets after today, imho.Never give up, never surrender.

I will be taking any profits on these today, fwiw.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2013 at 14:16 #2777Came back in to find I had made a profit from
a lopsided trade. Shorts are not in vogue yet
and will fair better in 2014 after we top out.Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2013 at 19:18 #2785To me this market looks exhausted now. I previously thought, and posted, that it would push up to 1820 ish (cash) but now I’m not so sure. It seems to be struggling, the 1813.55 top may be it for now and a significant decline is needed.
December 10, 2013 at 19:36 #2786Thx for the update paps!
December 10, 2013 at 19:38 #2787Welcome Gordon, for what it’s worth, lol
Prolly shoot up to 1820 now and make me look a right idiot
December 10, 2013 at 20:39 #2792Yes, markets are exhausted but also contained and maybe
just waiting for what looks like a +ve Dec OE etc.We must choose our trade entries with greater care else
stand aside and go Xmas shopping 😉Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2013 at 20:46 #2793Dec 18(fmoc) 19(pomo) 20(oe) and you would not
want to be on the wrong train on those days !Never give up, never surrender.
December 11, 2013 at 18:12 #2815Ftse and Cable movements, as a pairing, make
more sense than Dax and eur:usd, atleast 2me.I am short eur:usd at the round number 1.38
on the basis that something or someone in
euroland will cause a ripple of sorts.Never give up, never surrender.
