Missed my limits to long yesterday morning so had to chase it up when i realised it wasnt letting me in,something i hate doing.luckily closed out today for 50 handles.hard to be sure what the plan is from here,it already looks like 5 waves up on the hourly chart.im thinking as long as the fed statement doesnt send the market nuts, they keep it up here tonight, gap down into tomorrow and possibly bounce to end the week.
June 30, 2020 at 17:46 #32409I have a small profit, no positions, at the half year.
I’ve just done the maths … the return is 5%
Bearing in mind the risks and time it’s pathetic !
Never give up, never surrender.
June 30, 2020 at 18:39 #32410Dont beat yourself up cim,ive only just got my head above water on the year also.when you see the swings that have taken place, its intensely annoying but on the other hand i just bet theres traders who’ve done a whole lot worse at this stage.i personally think its been difficult to trade 2020,no doubt.

Cheers … maybe I can do better in the 2nd half.
All in all if I can do the same in the 2nd half
then a true 10% for the year will feel better.Never give up, never surrender.

My return for the first half is 6.59%. Yes, it feels small given the effort and time. On the other hand many people have been smashed in these markets, including that RobinHood guy who killed himself due to massive losses in options.
No, it’s not pathetic – it’s a positive return on your money. Remember that 10% per annum makes a doubling of assets every seven years. Not many people can do that.
Stand up and smile. You’re a winner.
June 30, 2020 at 19:49 #32413To drive the UK forward a figure of £100 per person is not enough.
The ‘start point’ for such a drive would be £1000 per person.
As for the world stock markets. They are on the brink.
We have a lot of talk and far too little action.
All imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
