I have 1 short in Ftse & 13 shorts in spoos and 2 swing positions open.

TODAY IS DAY4.

SYSTEM BDIP

We have a BDIP triggered at close on 17/09/2013.
It is now negated after DAY4.

DAY1… We got a low of -6.00.
DAY2… We got a low of -4.50.
DAY3… We got a low of -16.25.
DAY4… We got a low of -14.25.

DDUD

We have a DDUD season triggered at close on 11/07/2013.
It is now negated after DAY2.

SYSTEMS TRIGGERED

ESH2 NEXT DAY (KHC+3) USUALLY GIVES +3.

SHOULD GIVE A +3/+5. GOOD CHANCE OF A POSITIVE CLOSE. CAN GIVE A GOOD NEGATIVE PRINT ALSO INTRADAY.

Spoos closed at 1692.50 (basis Dec)

K+3 = 1695.50

Conclusion

We have 1 KHC+3 & 2 KHC+5 SYSTEMS in play.

We have a KTS DAY4 in play.

Although I identified resistance to sell at 1702/3 in the afternoon, it only got to 1701 to sell and then fell 10 points.

So what next?

Support is at 1686/8 area. Below that it can go onto that 167x.x print.

Resistance is at 1693 and then 1697/8 and above that 1701/3. Above that the rally resumes.

Although I hate that late day sell off, with all the positive KHC’s again, it looks like another +3/+5 day and I will long for that if I get a good entry. Chances of a DDUD print also.

SYSTEMS indicate we gap up tomorrow and although ES may fill, SPX may not fill.

If it gaps down it should fill.

I will wait until the morning and play it when I can see it like yesterdays long.

Sure that means I may miss the trade, but best to be safe than sorry.

Low was 1688.25

Long 1688.75 just now for the plan.

If all these SYSTEMS fail today then that for me will confirm TREND DOWN.

Lets see.

Further explanation … I longed as it hit support and also the COnclusion where I am expecting a down gap to fill and possible +3/+5 minimum and chance of DDUD.

On that basis I had to long.

I know that TREND could be DOWN but until confirmed I have to play the plan.

Once confirmed, it will be too late and this will be at a loss in which case 10 point auto stop will be hit or I will cancel stop and close manually as damage limitation at a loss or small profit.

Overjoyed with the trade.

To be successful one needs to study, understand, plan, pull the trigger and close the trade without any greed.

Now to see if it rallies more or sells off (ala TREND DOWN)

It required patience for THE LEVELS support to hit, but when it did there was no time for me to dither. I had to hit it.
